Acrylate(MeAA) was in situ prepared in chlorinated polyethylene(CPE) matrix through neutralization of hydroxide(oxide) and acrylic acid(AA) during mixing. The obtained CPE/MeAA compound was vulcanized with dicumyl peroxide(DCP).
