And the paper provides the results of harmonic identification, voltage fluctuation and voltage sag or swap detection, instantaneous active and reactive current extraction are presented based on the simulation using Matlab/Simulink. The simulation studies show that EPLL system can well monitor fundamental component. The total harmonic and reactive current extracted can used as a reference signal for an active filter compensation which can used in multi-function power quality compensator.
